Another day another makeup look. I was feeling like I wanted to something a little bit creative but still wearable when I created this look which ended up being this lovely jewel toned cut crease with a black lip. I absolutely adore gold shadows on my eyes, so I couldn't resist applying a gorgeous gold shade all over my lids. However, blue isn't a colour I usually use on my eyes so I did enjoy incorporating it into this look, it's definitely nice to shake up colours every once in a while. I also wanted to keep my face very bronzed and golden, so used a gold highlighter on the top of my cheekbones. In retrospect I would normally go a little bit heavier with my highlight, but I still love the subtle golden glow it gave me. Throughout the process of creating this look I was inspired by the typical image of Cleopatra, so sleek straight hair was a must and I couldn't resist a black lip either. I adore the contrast of matte black lips against a bronzed, glowing complexion I think the completely different finishes and colours bring even more attention to each other. If you want to recreate this look but are a bit anxious about black lips, go for a nude or light brown instead.beauty, makeup, youtube, catherine delves, youwishyou, bbloggers, cosmetics, cut crease, cleopatra makeup, black lips, midnight liquid lipstick, Anastasia Beverly Hills,
