Student Finance Haul

Being a student has a few perks, and one is definitely student finance. Don't get me wrong, it is not a lot of money by a long shot but it is nice to have a little helping hand financially while studying. As it is my final year I promised myself I would well and truly blow my student finance on whatever the hell I wanted, so when it came in this month I obviously had to treat myself to a few bits and pieces.

There have been a few items that aren't retailed in the UK I've been really interested in and I recently plucked up the courage to make my first order from Sephora. I was so nervous about ordering from there because it's coming from overseas, I was anxious that something would be broken and it would be a massive hassle to return (I opened the box praying 'please nothing be broken') but everything was absolutely perfect and I would definitely order from them again with ease of mind. I had a little splurge in this order because I thought if I was paying for the shipping I may as well make the order worth it. It was hard to narrow down my choices but I finally went for Kat Von D's Shade and Light Palette, Anastasia Beverlly Hills Artist Palette, Tarte's Tartlette palette, Becca X Jacyln Hill Champange Pop and Tarte's Amazonian Clay Blush. I am overly obsessed with the Anastasia Beverly Hills Artist Palette; it has so many stunning, unique colours in it that I can't wait to play around with. In contrast, the Tartlette Palette has some great wearable, everyday shades and the formula of them all is amazing. The blush from Tarte is also an absolutely stunning formula and the colour (Captivating) is so, so gorgeous.

I'm not normally a blush person but I've obviously attempted to venture into blusher a little bit more in the past few weeks as I also picked up a few from Max Factor. I bought myself two of their Creme Puff Blushes in the shades Alluring Rose and Gorgeous Berries and although I haven't tried these I've heard a lot of good things of these gorgeous blushes from other blushes. At Superdrug right now there is a 3 for 2 deal across loads of cosmetic lines which I decided to take advantage of with a few Revlon products. I haven't bought anything from Revlon in forever and the last product I did was a tad disappointing but I'm genuinely really excited to try all three items I got myself from Revlon. These three items are Revlon's Photofinish Foundation, Skinlight Illuminator in Pink Light and their lipstick in Mink. I've only had a chance to try the lipstick so far and although the colour is a gorgeous wearable brown shade, and although the formula isn't amazing in the longwear department, it is amazingly nourishing and moisturising on the lips. The last few bits I got were from Maybelline. I picked myself up their gel eyeliner and also their Big Lash Mascara. I'm a massive fan of Maybelline's mascaras and Big Lash is not up there as one of my faves by them, but it is a lovely one all the same.
