Last week I went a bit mad and bought myself a shit tone of new beauty products. I have no regrets because I literally love them all. You know how you sometimes buy some bits all at once and there's a few items you just don't really care for or have left you disappointed? That hasn't happened to me this haul. I feel blessed. All these products weren't bought all at once, a few of the drugstore items were bought a few weeks back, the the MAC and other drugstore items were bought in one day, then all the skincare bits were bought online. I think I'm going to divide this post into what I bought from MAC, the drugstore items and then the skincare bits just so it's a bit more organised to read. So, without further ado let's get stuck into this gigantic haul. You might want to pop the kettle on and brew a tea because this is going to be a big one.

-Drugstore-

Or "high street" if I want to start talking like the London gal I actually am. I've obviously been watching too many American Youtubers. I actually went out for the first bits that I bought from the high street because I lost my MAC Pro Long-wear Concealer (I think it must of got mixed up with empty plastic bags on my dressing table and been thrown away- sob!), so I wanted to get myself a new concealer. I'd heard a lot of things about Maybelline's Eye Eraser concealer so I was a little bit interested in buying that, but I went with an open mind and wanted to see what I liked in store. I did end up picking up the Maybeline concealer but I did also get Rimmel London's Wake Me Up Concealer which was a re-purchase as I've always loved that one and I wanted one to fall back on in case the Maybelinne one didn't live up to the hype. In the same shop I also picked up Rimmel London's Translucent powder which is another old favourite of mine that I haven't had in my collection since my old one ran out.

In my second drugstore shop, the one that was the same day as the MAC shop, I bought myself a few items from L'Oreal and a lovely palette from Makeup Revolution. I wanted to try and new foundation, God knows why as I already have them coming out of my ears, but I got it in my mind that I wanted needed L'Oreal's Infaliable Foundation. I was with James this day and honestly he is the funnest person to shop with. He helps me match my foundation shade and takes it so seriously, he's fucking adorable and I always know I can count on him to make sure it's exactly right. While in the L'Oreal section I also picked up their Infallible Primer which y'all know from my Base Edit post that I love. I haven't had a chance to even try the foundation yet but if the primer is anything to go by, it won't disappoint.

I knew I wanted some new eye shadows and even though I told myself I didn't want to buy anything from Makeup Revolution because I feel like my makeup collection is slowly getting dominated by it (remember in 2014 when I didn't like Makeup Revolution? How things change!), we ended up in the Makeup Revolution section and James picked up this beautiful Smokey Romantic palette by them. It instantly stood out for me because all the other palettes had too many similar shades to what I already own, but this one seemed to have a lot of completely unique shades. I ummed and ahhed about getting it because I told myself not to get another Makeup Revolution product but then James said, "It's only £4, you may as well," and I was sold. He then continued to say, "How is this only £4?! What was that £30 palette I got you? It looks exactly the same as that other one there.". Yes darling that was the Urban Decay Naked Palette and trust me it's worth every penny.

-MAC-

On that same day we ventured into the lanes and to MAC. I knew two items that I definitely wanted which were the bronzer Give Me Sun and the highlighter Soft and Gentle. I felt sort of casj about Soft and Gentle, I was thinking it would be okay but it wouldn't blow me away, but seriously it's blown me out the water. I'm so impressed with it, I do understand what all the hype is about, it's a gorgeous highlight. I also decided to start a Pro Palette and you can read all about that and the shades that I chose to start it off with here. I've not yet added any other shades to my palette but I'm excited to. I think as it gets fuller I'll start to feel bittersweet as I'll be excited to add more shades but gutted that it'll be full before I know it. But, there's 11 shadows left to buy before I need to start worrying about that. Be sure to read the post linked to see what three shades I bought for my palette! The last thing I bought from MAC was a small, angled brush and it is the number 208. I needed a new brush for my brows because the one I was using was very, very cheap and was getting a bit worn out and I felt like it wasn't creating sharp lines that it used to. At first I picked up the slightly larger version but the sales assistant suggested trying the smaller one as it's easier to control, so I went with that and I've been really happy with it. I definitely feel an improvement to my brows since ditching my old, crusty brush and using this one instead. I find it a lot easier to create the shape I need and as I have more control is a lot easier to avoid overdrawing or creating messy brows which I felt like my old brush was starting to make me do a bit.

-Skincare-

After I bought all these makeup bits I vowed that I would not be spending any more money for a long time because I do not have the funds to be having such large hauls. I obviously then had to get into an obsessive frenzy over the lack-luster of my skin and how crap it looks and buy myself a bunch of skincare items. I swear whenever I find a skincare routine that works for me, my skin gets used to it and then goes back to its normal awful self. Does anyone else get this?! Despite my recent skincare bliss using T-Zone's products, it has started to get quite spotty recently so although I'm still using my T-Zone products that I love, I wanted to get a few other bits to just give my skin a little more TLC. After lusting over it for basically forever I decided to go ahead and get myself the Pixi Glow Tonic and I also ended up buying REN's AHA Resurfacing Concentrate; I was obviously on an acid hype. I've used both of them only a few times already and I think I'm going to get into a routine of using the REN Concentrate for a week every night, then for a week use the Pixi Glow Tonic every other night, then repeat. I'll work out what my skin wants, but so far I'm loving both of them as individual products, they both leave my skin feeling super soft and glowing. The effects of the Pixi Tonic are more instant and you can feel them straight after you apply it, whereas the REN Concentrate doesn't make too much of a difference straight away but I wake up with my skin feeling so soft and glowing.

I also repurchased MyChelle's Pumpkin Renew Cream as I ran out of it some time ago and I found when I used it previously it really helped soothe and clear up my skin. I do have a full review of this moisturiser here, so be sure to give it a read to get the full idea of the effects of this product. I'm so excited to use it again as it's the perfect hydrating product for oily, dull skin like mine. I also decided to buy Clinique's Take The Day Off Cleansing Balm as a pre-cleanse as although I've been using coconut oil for it and I love it as an eye makeup remover, I'm always a bit hesitant to use it on my skin as I get scared it will break me out and I just wanted a product that I could use to take my facial makeup off that I wouldn't worry about. I spent literally two hours reading Caroline Hirons' blog the other day and it was recommended by her, and if it's good enough for Caroline Hirons, it's most definitely good enough for me!

And that's it, that's all from that massive haul! I am super impressed if you've actually read all that because my god it was exhausting enough to write, let alone read. I won't be doing another haul for a good while now because I need to give my bank balance some time to recover, but I am so happy with all these purchases, I can't say I regret any of it.
