Every summer BB Creams take over the beauty world. A cream that was light like a moisturizer but had the coverage of the foundation; a flawless idea. Perfect for summer days when the atmosphere is muggy and you wanted to avoid your skin feeling over congested with makeup. The only problem is there are hundreds on the market and it can be tough to know which one will suit your skin the best, which is why we've taken to creating our own BB Cream with products we already know, trust and love. No need to risk buying a product that won't will leave you with the bad taste of disappointment.

-What You'll Need-

-Your favourite foundation
-Your favourite day moisturiser. We recommend an oil free one.

-Method-

On the back of your hand, mix a small amount of foundation with a small amount of moisturiser. A 50:50 ratio is best for most but if you're wanting more coverage, you may want to try 70:30.

Once the two are fully mixed, apply to your face with your fingers or a brush.

And it's as simple as that! Create and apply. That's literally all you need to do to create your own BB Cream and you're left with amazing DIY product without spending a single penny or too much time. The reason we tend to opt for creating our own BB Cream is that you're in complete control. You can control the coverage and consistency of the cream so you can create it different each time if you wanted to suit your skin's needs.

  5. Before BB cream even came out I was doing this! But sometimes I feel certain foundations and moisturisers together can go a bit gloopy. This is a great tip for saving money though :) x
