Around the same time every month I dread waking up to a face full of spots. Ladies, you know what I'm talking about. I have bad skin for the most part - my face is never without some sort of blemish - but when my period swings around my skin usually likes to go into full on disgusting mode and break me out big time. I'm usually prepared and armed with a pot of face mask and a tube of Savlon in an attempt to keep the beasts at bay at least a little bit, but more often than not I will still have horrific skin at this time of the month. Except for this month. I've not touched a face mask in two weeks and I've not even had to reach for the Savlon as my blemishes are surprisingly under control; my face actually looks better than it normally does when I'm not even on my period. I pin it down to the introduction of two new products to my skincare routine; the Sensitive Cleansing Cream Wash and Refreshing and Hydrating Gel Cream by T-Zone.

It's very rare that I find products that works well for my very blemish prone oily skin, especially one that is so purse friendly. I'm always looking for places to save money (student life!) and although skincare shouldn't be one of them, it's so nice to actually of found a product that keeps my skin in amazing condition that also doesn't make my bank balance wince. T-Zone's Sensitive Cleansing Cream Wash retails in the UK for only £1 and well, who can argue with that especially when it works so well. I use the cleansing cream wash morning and at night after I've removed my make-up and I find it super hassle free to use as it washes away really easily and leaves my skin feeling squeaky clean and no longer congested, which is a lovely feeling after a long day. I also find that this gorgeous product keeps my skin super soft and doesn't leave it feeling stripped; it creates the perfect balance for me as my skin is kept oil free but also still hydrated and soft.

In my routine I've been following this lush cleanser with T-Zone's Refreshing and Hydrating Gel Cream as a day and evening moisturiser. I barely ever use the same moisturiser day and night as I like a heavier one of an evening but I've found this suitably wonderful for both times of day as it absorbs into my skin quickly. I've found using these two products both day and night has kept my skin not only significantly clearer but also very soft, which is very positive as some products for oily skin can leave you a tiny bit dry. If I have had a blemish pop up, they've been going down within a day or so which is an unusual but welcomed change for my skin as my spots are typically very stubborn.

Both products contain salicylic acid, tea tree oil and are free from parabens which is what all blemish prone people should looking for and be swearing by; I know when I see a product with an impressive ingredient list like this it makes me happy! Their nourishing textures, skin-loving ingredients and visible results made it effortless for me to fall in love with these products.
