Although I love a good winter boot as much as the next person, I am beyond excited to give my toes a little bit of sun now that we're officially amerced into Spring. I recently switched my wardrobe from my Autumn/Winter one to my Spring/Summer one (read more here) and I noticed I have a significant lack of Spring appropriate footwear that I actually like. Seriously, I only have say two pairs of shoes in my Spring Summer wardrobe that I find myself reaching for on a day to day basis. Needless to say, I definitely need to get shopping for Spring footwear and here are some of my top picks for it.

During the warmer months I absolutely love wearing more skin exposing clothes and shoes; I definitely feel like the better weather gives more opportunity for wearing more versatile styles of footwear. I can't get enough of lace up sandals and the moment and Russel & Bromley have got it spot on with this stunning heeled pair. If to you lace up seems more faff that it's worth, River Island's beautiful white wrap front heels may be a gorgeous alternative as they create effortless elegance. If you are torn between the two; I wouldn't blame you for getting both!

For everyday wear I'm most definitely a flat girl. I will sacrifice comfort  on a night out but if I'm going into town to do some shopping or going to uni I 100% want to be comfortable but still not have to compromise on fashion for my comfort; believe it or not they can live together in harmony. Flats are often branded as being boring when it comes to shoes and although I can see where that stereotype has come from, there are some gorgeous flats out there which are just as sophisticated, glamorous and fierce as heels. 9 times out of 10 you will see my in pointed flats; I love them. A pointed shoe gives either a flat or a heel just that little bit of added edge and I seriously am head over heels for pointed shoes at the moment; they add a pinch of attitude. In addition to a pointed shape, jeweled shoes are also catching my eye a lot recently. They are a gorgeous way to add a bit of glam to a flat shoe, especially sandals that can look a bit overly casual at times. The silver, pointed jeweled shoes pictured above are my absolute dream at the moment; style them with some white jeans for a perfect everyday look.
