Real Techniques Retractable Bronzer Brush

Real Techniques Retractable Bronzer Brush Review
Real Techniques Retractable Bronzer Brush Review
Real Techniques Retractable Bronzer Brush- Boots

Santa left this little beauty in my stocking for me and since opening it I've been in love. The brush is big, fluffy and as soft as a feather; I spent a good few minutes swirling it on the back on my palm and let me tell you it was and still is a lovely feeling.

I'm a self proclaimed massive fan of the Real Techniques retractable brushes as they are so much more convenient in terms of storage and travel. Being able to retract and pop the cap on this brush is an element that really attracts me to a brush as I know I can pop it in my make-up bag among other brushes without having to give a second thought to any bacteria from other brushes contaminating this one. I'm a massive worrier when it comes to over thinking what I'm putting on my face (the stress of bacteria probably causes me more spots), so it's nice to have one less thing to worry about!

As a bronzer applicator I absolutely adore this gorgeous big, fluffy brush. Previously I used a Bare Minerals Face Brush which is a tiny bit smaller than thing and softly rounded rather than flat and then do a bit of blending if needed with a flat kabuki brush. I've found that with this gorgeous Real Techniques brush I need to be a lot less heavy handed as it applies my bronzer effortlessly and dreamily, like the majority of my Real Technique Brushes do; a consistent with this lovely brand.  When it comes to the shape of the brush I find that no precision is not lost with the flat brush, in fact it's probably better because of the flat shape which has both the buffing shape and the flat shape. This definitely makes it easier to have more control over your harsh and soft lines therefore less of a need for more blending after application as you can apply perfectly first time. Like I said you only need a light hand as the make-up transfers effortlessly from brush to skin and everything about this brush has made the bronzer step of my make-up routine a breeze.

Did Santa bring you any beauty treats this Christmas?

  1. This sounds absolutely gorgeous, I love nothing more than super soft brushes. I really adore using kabuki brushes, and this seems a similiar size- I would love to give it a go. Very pretty design too xxx

  3. This brush seems amazing. I would love it for travel but I haven't had any of their other brushes so I would like to try all of them first. They look so soft though.
