Simple Kind To Skin Moisturiser

Simple Kind To Skin Moisturiser Review
Simple Kind To Skin Moisturiser Review

Moisturiser isn’t something I talk a lot about on my blog, despite the fact I love reading about it on others. I think that’s mainly due to the fact I’m not adventurous in the slightest when it comes to my moisturiser choices; I’ve been using the same one for about three years. Please note when I say three years, I’m not exaggerating, I mean it quite literally. Over the years my skincare drawer has been graced over and over again by Simple’s Kind To Skin Moisturiser, and whilst over that time they’ve tweaked a few little details of the product such as packaging, consistency and for some reason SPF, the product as a whole has remained its same trusty self.

The past few months as I’m steadily getting through my last bottles of the stuff, I’ve been weighing up the decision to move on from Simple and try a new moisturiser, and honestly, it hasn’t been easy. I’ve been faithful to Simple for a good many years now, and where’s the sense in trying to fix something that isn’t broken?  Simple tick all the qualities you’d look for in a standard moisturiser. It’s incredibly lightweight which as a girl with fairly oily skin is an absolute must, quick to absorb, long lasting and fragrance free, which are all unbeatable and 'can't live without' factors for any moisturiser. In addition, Simple prides itself in being packed full of vitamin goodness and free from harsh and unnecessary chemicals which makes this moisturiser ideal for anyone with sensitive skin, or just for anyone that wants to give their skin the best in can get.

I can't deny that it's fantastic as a moisturizer, but that’s it. Whilst Simple will always be an amazing moisturiser and perfect for someone that wants a no fuss product that has no bells and whistles attached, I think with all the variety out there it can easily get overlooked. In terms of my own moisturising journey, I've decided I will venture out and try a different oneWith all the ‘energizing’ and ‘pore refining’ moisturizers on the market I've decided that I want to give something else a try that brings that little bit extra to the table. But, if all else fails, I know that Simple has and always will suit and satisfy my skin.

  1. I also love the simple moisturiser but I don't use it all that often. It's nice to have a back up bottle of it in my drawers though :) Lizzie xx

  7. This is my go-to moisturiser. Luckily, my skin is pretty good so I'm okay with just using this but it really is just a very basic moisturiser. I wish they had added SPF though, especially for the summer.

  8. My favourite drugstore moisturiser. I use this, the Simple toner and Simple wipes. I wouldn't buy anything else. Well, until I get older and need tougher stuff to battle wrinkles! haha

  13. This is honestly one of the best moisturisers I've ever used. So 'Simple', pardon the pun, and really easy to wear under makeup without it overloading your skin and becoming too greasy! XX
