My Favourite Summer Juice

I recently invested in a juicer which I'm not going to lie to you, I'm absolutely obsessed with. I love my juicer! I've been keen to make some crazy juices with celery, spinach and ginger but when it boils down to it some of my favourite juices to make are the simple ones and in the past few days my favourite juice to make when relaxing in the heat is a refreshing strawberry and cherry juice.

When making this juice I tend to stick by the ratio 5:2, 2 cherries to every five strawberries. I really adore the strawberry juice as the base flavour, and the hint of cherry is still obviously present without being overpowering to the overall taste. Before I bought my juicer I was always a bit of a blender girl, but since I've been making juices I've definitely been converted. Juicing is so much more efficient than blending as you get a clean, smooth juice and the pulp is discarded of perfectly.

I love making juices for a healthy but delicious between meal snack and my juicer is definitely a favourite new toy!

What are your favourite summer juices?

  1. The juice looks lovely! It's not a juice, but when I was at Rainforest Cafe in Florida, I ordered a Strawberry Lemonade, which they made by mixing together fresh strawberries and lemonade. It tasted so good!

  3. I've been wanting to make smoothies and jucies all summer but didn't want to have to drag the blender out of the shed and set it all up to use it to put it back away for next time. In a few vlogs and blogs i've seen the Nutribullet which looked amazing but was a bit pricey. I accidently came across the Blend-active in a super market which was on sale so i grabbed it and now i can't stop using it!
I love putting already made juice with ice to get a slushie/icie!
Im going to try this but with rasberries instead of cherries because i don't really like cherries all that much.!

  5. I've never used a juicer, I've always stuck with blenders! But I think I can still make this with a blender, right? I love the idea of strawberries and cherries, haven't tried it before but I think I'll like it :) Thanks for joining the twitter chat with me today! <3
