Have You Discovered? | Pamper Products

Who doesn't love a good pamper session? I certainly do and although I admit I'm a bit lazy when it comes to pamper evenings, the days when I finally muster up enough effort to slap a face mask on, I always regret not doing it more often. When I do get round to pampering myself, I'm completely devoted to Superdrug's face masks, I literally can't fault them. They're as cheap as chips, cruelty free and my skin adores them, they're one of my absolutely favourite brands for face masks as they tick all my pamper and skincare boxes. Within my Superdrug face mask collection, one that I will always grab if I'm having a bad skin week (or month in my current situation!) is their Detoxifying Dead Sea Mud Mask.

On applying the mask, the first thing that catches my eye about it is of course the colour. It's a grey/purple shade and I don't know about you but for me a mask is just ten times better when it's a gorgeous colour, does that make me a big baby? Anyway, as the mask sits on your face the oiliest areas of your skin turn darker purple, indicating where the mask is doing the most of it's magic. The mask is tailored for normal to oily skin, and as an oily skinned girl I've found that mud or clay masks the best for drawing out oil and impurities from pores.

While it's on, the mask makes my skin super tight so I can barely move my forehead or mouth which is sort of how I imagine having botox feels. Despite how tight my skin gets while the mask is on, after washing off it always feels soft, radiant and beautifully clean. In my current state of awful skin I used this the other day and my blemishes are looking the calmest they have in a long while, I don't want to jinx it but I'm hoping this means they are on their way out!

This is definitely a must have pamper product, especially for those with slightly oilier skin and even though it isn't expensive, for me the results of this mask match that of a dearer product.
