Rimmel London's Moisture Renew Lipstick in Shades 220 and 470

In my last post I mentioned I bought two lipsticks from this range, in the shades Heather Shimmer and Glam Plum Fulham. I adore Rimmel London make-up, especially their lipstick and I'm always interested in trying the collections within their range as well. I loved the Kate Moss collection, so I didn't hesitate to buy these two lippys from their Moisture Renew collection. Everyone's lips suffer in the winter so I was eager to see if these lipsticks would give my lips a bit of pampering in the cold weather.

I love a bit of bold colour on my lips, usually a red or deep purple, and the plum colour of Rimmel's Glam Plum Fulham its the perfect in between shade. In contrast, Heather Shimmer is a gorgeous neutral shade with a slight shimmer to it.

When you first apply these lipsticks from the Moisture Renew collection, they feel beautiful and soft on your lips and you can definitely feel the moisture elements of the lipsticks instantly. I have found the Glam Plum can feel a bit dry after a while, so I found myself popping on a layer of lip balm and then another layer of lipstick on halfway through the day, but for some reason I find all my darker shades of lipstick are the same, but it is a bit disappointing as it's meant to be especially moisturizing but oh well!

Heather Shimmer is absolutely fine in this respect though, I'm completely in love with this shade, it's my new favourite everyday lipstick. It's subtle enough to wear on a casual day but just dark enough to give a sophisticated feel to your make-up; also it looks amazing with navy!

Love,
xXx
